The Strawberry Project
What do bees have to do with strawberries?

Finally, I decided to set up my project on strawberries, because I Love To Eat Strawberries. But why to straberries need bees to grow???
Most flowering plants are pollinated by insects. Flowers only open when it is sunny and warm. In the evening or even when the sun disappears behind the clouds, the petals close. Even in cold, rain and dew, the flowers remain closed (image on the left). So the pollen is protected and cannot be washed away. The flowers have the most nectar and smell the strongest when their stamens and stamens are ripe. With their scent and their often bright colors (image on the right), they attract the bees.

The bees visit the flowers to absorb the sweet nectar they use as food. So plant and insect help each other. But the flowers provide their visitors with food, the visitors help the flowers in the pollination.
When a bee crawls into a flower to drink the nectar, the pollen sticks to the hairy body of the bee. With the pollen on the body, the bee flies in search of the next flower. The pollen, which the bees bring with them, then remains attached to the sticky scar of the next flowers and new pollen then remains again attached to the body of the bee. This allows bees to pollinate large numbers of flowers, enabling the plant to produce new flowers or fruit. This results in the thesis: Without bees there will be no fruits!
Don´t just relax this Summer
Be engaded in supporting the Bees.
